1940s Air Raid Shelter Cafe and Tea Room

A place of beauty is just one way to describe the Air Raid Shelter Cafe & tea Room in High Wycombe Buckinghamshire, packed with history, momentos and taking you back to the 1940s with it’s spectacular furnishing and decor.

After a call to the cafe today Joanne and Ian set out on a plan to support the Air Raid Shelter Cafe on their quest to reach the number one spot for Christmas 2021. With rumbling tummies we stopped by and was greeted by such lovely staff, we indulged in a (Tommy’s Full English Breakfasts) which was lovely. Followed by a conversation with Chris the owner of the cafe who is currently in the spotlight along with WW2 Veteran national treasure and member of pop group The 1945! John Pearce with “Christmas baby please come home” single and what a cracker it is:
