A Memorable Day

Sangria, Cocktails and a buffet

We had sangria, cocktails and a buffet all set up in our beautiful reception area, the performers danced to the Island Drum beats and rhythms outside, so all our residents could watch them with safety guidelines in place.

Our residents are still talking about their special day and how amazing dancing and music. It was a really happy day all around.

This was really exciting and memorable for our residents, they loved watching the children dance and perform for them. It was lovely to see all their big smiles and happiness, residents were dancing and clapping along.

The day was very special as during the pandemic we have not been able to have any entertainers into the care home.

Here at Silvanna Court Wickford, we held an afternoon full of movement, music and dance.

Our amazing team of staff put a lovely entertainment show for our residents.

Our ladies from the South Pacific Islands, Lilly-anne, Patricia and Moyra, who all work in different job roles within Silvanna Court, came with all their traditional costumes and music. Their children also came to dance with them, in their traditional Island grass skirts.
